Tanks in Town 08' Mons Belgium

Stopped by Tanks in Town on my way to Nothern France to check out the Somme, Agincourt, and Crecy.    Pictures are here.

TiT was great this year.  Perfect weather and a larger variety of vintage hardware then two years ago.  Intersting stuff:

  • Turretless M5 Stuart
  • A working Kettengrad
  • M8 Scott
  • Lots of Greyhounds
  • A modern Belgium tank that threw it's track
  • A tow truck with a .50 cal on top.
  • And a Jeep armed with dual bazooka's mounted on the .50 cal mount.

Visit Home

I was back in Phoenix to fix my failing roof. 10 grand thrown after a house I have not lived in for three years!. On a lighter note, I caught some desert colors from the top of my brothers roof facing the setting sun over the valley. Pictures are here.
I had a great time over the two weeks with the family and friends. I found a contractor to get my roof on the way to being fixed and added a new member to the family. It went all too fast.
